Our Locations

Snowhook Adventure operates across several distinct Alaska locations, each offering a different way to experience the landscape. From our kennels in Willow to the mountain setting of Hatcher Pass, the trails of Eklutna, and Denali adventures.

We match each tour to your abilities, comfort levels, weather, trail conditions, season, and landscape on the day.

Snowhook Kennel, & Doc's Dine & Dash

Snowhook Kennel is based in Willow, the location of our Iditarod racing dog teams, and our home. Meet our dogs and puppies, learn about mushing, and Alaskan culture. Snowhook Kennel is the start of many of our adventures and our original site. With easy access to forest trails, winter routes, and year-round outdoor experiences.

Snowhook Lodge & Private Cabins

Hatcher Pass is one of Snowhook Adventure’s most important locations and is home to Snowhook Lodge and private cabins. With mountain scenery, backcountry terrain, winter and summer trails, access to multiple adventures, Starlink WiFi, Hot Tub, and Sauna, Hatcher Pass works as both a destination and a basecamp for SAGA.

Our Anchorage Location - within 30 mins

Located around 30 minutes from Anchorage, Eklutna offers striking scenery, open trails, and easy access to outdoor adventure. Snowhook’s Eklutna experiences include e-bike and ATV tours, making it a great choice for guests who want an active Alaska experience without travelling too far from the city.

Longer routes into iconic Alaska

Denali is one of Alaska’s most iconic wilderness regions, known for vast mountain landscapes, remote trails, and views shaped by the Alaska Range. For Snowhook guests, Denali is most closely connected with our longer adventures, where the journey is as much about the scale of the landscape as the activity itself. These tours are ideal for guests looking for a bigger backcountry experience beyond a standard short ride.

Find the Right Alaska Adventure

Each SAGA location offers a different kind of experience, from dog sledding adventures at our Willow kennels to mountain stays at Hatcher Pass, active day trips near Anchorage, and longer routes towards Denali.
