As the adventure continues, we’ll travel beyond Hatcher Pass to Matanuska Glacier and then farther into the mountains toward Eureka. Walk on the glacier’s blue ice before spending another full day exploring Alaska by snowmobile, riding through the incredible winter landscape around Eureka and toward the Nelchina Glacier region. With experienced local guides leading the way, each day gives you a different look at the places we know and love.
On day six, we’ll change the pace and head toward Palmer for a horse-drawn sleigh or trail ride before returning to Snowhook Lodge for your final evening. Along the way there is plenty of time for good food, incredible scenery and relaxing after full days outside, without feeling like you’re rushing from one activity to the next.
Your final morning begins with breakfast at Snowhook Lodge before one last snowmobile ride down from Hatcher Pass. From there, we’ll take care of your transportation back to Anchorage. After seven days of running dogs, riding snowmobiles, ice fishing, exploring glaciers and travelling through some of our favorite parts of Southcentral Alaska, you’ll have experienced winter here the way we know and love it.
