Tour Details
Not only do we love to share a life lived with dogs with you, the dogs do, too. This is evident from the moment your tour begins.
At SAGA, every dog is part of our family. Each has a special place on our team whether is retired sled dogs who greet you when you arrive or dogs in their prime who will take you on Alaska’s winter trails.
After you’re outfitted for winter, we’ll share some tales from the trail around the campfire before introducing you to the whole team, many who have raced the Iditarod multiple times.
This tour is more than sitting in a sled and going in a loop — it’s interactive. We invite you to be part of the adventure beginning with giving the dogs love and attention before we head out on the trail. Once we’re on the trail, you can take in the sights riding in a custom-made tour sled, or you can help you guide drive the sled! Either way, in our signature 2 hour tour, there is something for everyone!
Book your tour today! Alaska is calling and you mush go! (Yeah, we said it).
NOTE: We want everyone to have a positive and successful experience. Please let us know if someone in your group is not comfortable around dogs. We are experienced at providing safe and welcoming introductions to the dogs and are happy to work with your group.
