Join us on our 15-mile e-bike adventure on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.  Your experience begins at Earthquake Park, where we’ll travel on easy trails along the coast through forests and ocean views with stunning views of Denali.  We’ll work our way on mostly flat trails where you’ll quickly become comfortable with the bike as we travel past moose grazing in the woods to Kincaid Park, where we’ll switch gears to the perfect amount of challenge on single track riding.  We’ll work with you at your level and on trails that will bring a smile to your face to become a better rider as we travel up and down the hills and trails of the area.  You may start out at a beginner level, but you’ll leave feeling like you’ve conquered the ride when you get out on these seriously fun trails.  And don’t forget, these are e-bikes so you won’t spend your time gasping for air and instead you’ll be out there riding!  It’s the adult version of going to an amusement park that’s suitable for all experience levels.

Note: Guests should be in good health and expect to interval strenuous activity.

Tour Details

Your adventure begins at Earthquake Park, where we’ll get everyone set up with their e-bike and equipment before heading onto the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The first part of the ride gives you plenty of time to become comfortable with the bike as we travel along mostly flat trails through forests and beside the coast.

Along the way, we’ll pass some of Anchorage’s most interesting natural and historic landmarks, including areas affected by the 1964 earthquake and old-growth forest that survived it. There are opportunities for views across Cook Inlet toward Denali, Mount Foraker and Mount Redoubt, while moose and other wildlife are regularly found in the forests surrounding the trail.

As we reach Kincaid Park, the riding changes and we’ll introduce some single-track trails with a little more challenge. Your guide will work with your experience and confidence level, helping you develop your riding while choosing trails that keep things fun rather than overwhelming.

The electric assistance means you can enjoy the hills and trails without spending the entire ride exhausted. Whether you start as a complete beginner or already have some time on a bike, the goal is to finish with a little more confidence, a big smile and 15 miles of Anchorage adventure behind you.
