Winter in Alaska is all about getting outside, trying something new, and enjoying the incredible scenery along the way. Join us for a full day that combines two classic Alaska winter experiences with ice fishing and snowmobiling. Spend the morning fishing either on the ice from the comfort of our heated ice fishing tents, before enjoying a warm lunch and heading out on the trails for an afternoon of riding through the Alaskan backcountry.

This tour includes a 2.5-hour ice fishing session, a 2-hour snowmobile adventure, lunch, and all necessary gear for both activities.
Your day begins with a 2.5-hour ice fishing adventure on a frozen Alaskan lake. Our experienced guides will provide your fishing gear, get you set up on the ice and show you the basics, with heated tents available to keep you warm while you fish. All you need to bring is a day fishing license.
After enjoying the morning on the ice, we’ll head back to Snowhook Adventure Guides for a warm lunch before getting geared up for your snowmobile adventure. Then it’s time to head out onto the trails, riding through snow-covered forests and the Alaskan backcountry with incredible mountain scenery and chances to see Denali along the way.

Yes. A warm lunch is included between your ice fishing and snowmobile adventures, giving you time to refuel and warm up before heading onto the trails.
Safety is our priority. Extreme weather or unsafe conditions may require us to change, reschedule or cancel the tour. If Snowhook cancels your tour, our cancellation policy will apply.
Absolutely. Both parts of the adventure offer plenty of opportunities for photos, from fishing on a frozen Alaskan lake to riding through snow-covered forests and mountain scenery.

Getting ready for your Ice Fishing & Snowmobile Combo is easy, but a little preparation will help you make the most of your time in the Alaskan outdoors. Before your tour, take a look at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game’s fishing regulations for information about sport fishing in Alaska and remember that you will need to purchase a day fishing license before heading out onto the ice.
Winter conditions are part of what makes exploring Alaska so much fun, and the weather can change quickly throughout the day. You can check current conditions and forecasts on the National Weather Service’s Alaska page before your tour. Our guides will take care of the equipment and show you the basics of both activities, so even if you’ve never been ice fishing or ridden a snowmobile before, you’ll be ready to enjoy a day on the frozen lakes and snow-covered trails of the Alaskan backcountry.
