Let the magic of a moonlit trail wash over your senses as you join us for a uniquely Alaskan dog sledding adventure. Located only an hour from Anchorage this tour includes meeting and greeting all of our dogs from the youngest to our retired dogs. Begin with a warm hearty meal around a cozy fire to set the stage. From there we will do a brief orientation before we head to the dog yard where we will get the teams ready and then head out on the trail under the moon and stars. This tour goes up and down hills, through the woods and over frozen lakes. There will be plenty of time for pictures so don’t forget your camera!

At SAGA, every dog is cherished as part of our family. Retired sled dogs will greet you upon arrival, while our energetic prime dogs are ready to lead you through the serene Talkeena Mountains under the moonlight.
Once you’re outfitted for the winter chill, gather around the campfire where we’ll share tales from the trail before introducing you to our incredible team. Many of our dogs have proudly competed in the Iditarod multiple times.
We invite you to become part of our adventure. Start by giving our dogs some love and attention before we set off on the moonlit trail. You can choose to ride in a custom-made tour sled or help your guide drive the sled, immersing yourself in the full experience.
