Cancellation Policy

Notes

We schedule our guides based upon our bookings 7-14 days in advance, which means late
cancellations hurt our company, individual guides and their families. If you decide not to use our
Worry Free Travel Cancellation Protection, then we would strongly advise purchasing travel
insurance from another vendor for your upcoming visit.

Optional – Worried about needing to change or cancel your tour? With our Worry Free Travel
Cancellation Protection, you can cancel or reschedule your tour up to 24 hours before the start
of the tour. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking at least 24 hours before the start of
your tour, you will receive 100% of the base tour costs (less taxes and booking fees). The fee
for our Worry Free Cancellation Protection is non-refundable.

Overnight Tours & Speciality Tours

NOTE: Overnight/Specialty Tours Include:

Northern Lights Adventure, Northern Lights Ultimate Adventure, Northern Lights Experience, Ultimate Iditarod Adventure, Rainy Pass Snowmobile Expedition, Midnight Sun ATV & Sunrise Dog Sled Adventure, Fall Northern Lights Adventure

Cancellation requests 14 days prior to the start of your tour will receive a full refund less any booking fees or taxes. You may reschedule 1 time at no cost.

Cancellation requests 7-13 days prior to the start of your tour will receive 50% refund
less any booking fees or taxes. You may reschedule 1 time for no cost.
Cancellation requests less than 7 days prior to the start of your tour or failure to show up will result in no refund or rescheduling option.
Bookings made within the 7 day window prior to the start of a tour are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
Rescheduling is first come, first served and based entirely on availability.
Rescheduled bookings are not eligible for refund or rescheduling a 2nd time.
Please note that canceled flights or illness are not exceptions to our cancellation policy.
In the event that the tour is canceled by Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska due to weather or any other force majeure, the reserving party will receive a complete refund.

Day Tours/Non Speciality

NOTE: Day Tours include:

Winter Dog Sled Adventure, Snowmobile Adventure Tour, Moonlight Dog Sled Adventure, Snowmobile Full Day Adventure, Ice Fishing Experience, Dog Sled & Ice Fishing Combo, Hatcher Pass ATV Adventure, Summer Dog Sled Adventure, Midnight Sun ATV Tour, Hatcher Pass Helicopter Tour, Fall Dog Sled Adventure, Dog Sled & ATV Combo

Cancellation requests less than 72 hours prior to the start of your tour or failure to show up will result in no refund or rescheduling option.

Same day bookings are not eligible for refunds, rebooking or Travel Cancellation Protection.
Rescheduling is first come, first served and based entirely on availability.
Rescheduled bookings are not eligible for refund or rescheduling a 2nd time.

You may cancel your stay up to 24 hours prior to check in time for a refund (less taxes and booking fees).
